Kickers establishes and maintains long-term relationships with its commercial partners based on openness, honesty and trust. The brand is committed to practicing responsible and correct governance.
For several years, Kickers has been a participating member of the BSCI, the Business Social Compliance Initiative, a non-profit organisation based in Brussels and set up by the Foreign Trade Association (FTA). The brand underscores its commitment to complying with and upholding the principles of this initiative, such as respect for human rights and basic social standards, by passing them on to its suppliers around the world.
The code of conduct, based on the recommendations of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and national regulations, includes strict guidelines for suppliers with regard to: child labour, workplace safety, working hours, pay, discrimination, etc.
Kickers conducts social audits to ensure that its suppliers always comply with these guidelines and continually improve the work environment of their employees. These audits are conducted by internationally renowned, accredited and specialised laboratories.
