Soft leather:
It is very easy to clean soft leather shoes. Take a cloth, add a small amount of cleansing cream and wipe using circular movements. Let it dry for an hour. The shoes need waterproofing to keep their suppleness and shine.
Patent leather:
We recommend you to use a special oil if you want to maintain your patent leather shoes in peak condition. Gently and softly rub the product into the shoes with a dry cloth. Then wipe it off with a dry cloth and waterproof it.
Thick Nubuck leather:
To maintain thick nubuck leather shoes, you need to use gel that is specially designed for this purpose. Apply this gel with a cloth using circular movements. Waterproof your shoes to finish with.
Split leather:
If your split leather shoes are stained, rub them with a suede eraser. The leather must be dry before you clean them. Then waterproof them.
Canvas:
Canvas can be cleaned simply and naturally. Rub at the stains with household soap and water. If the stains don't go away, soak them.
Synthetic leather:
You should maintain your leather shoes using a soft-bristled brush or even a slightly damp cloth. Your shoes only need a couple of buffs. Then apply wax in a suitable colour and next waterproof them to protect them.
Cowhide-style calfskin leather:
Cowhide-style calfskin leather is fragile, and you should only clean shoes like this with a damp cloth and let them dry naturally. Above all, you should never apply wax or cream to them. To protect your shoes, you can apply protective spray last of all.
Faux fur:
The stains on your shoes can be removed with a dry, clean cloth; you are strongly advised not to use washing powder, as this could ruin your shoes. Your shoes might shed a few hairs, but this is normal wear and tear.
Suede:
You should remove the dust from suede shoes using a soft brush. Then waterproof them. The waterproofing product should be the same colour as the suede.
